Directions to the Munch

Our monthly dinner get-togethers ("munches") are being held on the first Wednesday of every month at the Rum Runner Pub at the corner of King and Queen streets in Kitchener. The "official" start time is 7:30, but we encourage newcomers to show up at 7:00 so they don't have to walk into a roomful of strangers.

From out of town, take the 401 to Highway 8 West and continue on until it becomes King Street. Continue on King Street past Market Square (which is at King and Frederick). The next set of lights is Queen Street, and the Rum Runner is just past the lights on the left hand side.

You can also take Grand River Transit.  Most major bus routes go right past the pub, and the transit terminal is only a block away so pretty much any bus will take you there.  The transit terminal is also a Grey Coach bus station, for those coming in from out of town.

There are two entrances.  You can come in the main entrance on King Street and go down the stairs, or you can come in off Queen Street (under the green awning) and take the elevator next to the entrance to Coffee Culture.  The pub is wheelchair accessible if you come in via the elevator.

We meet in the room at the back, called the Hunt Club.  Just ask for it when you arrive.
